Recall Check©

Since 1974, American citizens have been protected from dangerous items in their home. By law, if a manufacturer has designed a dangerous product, they MUST recall all those items and fix them for FREE! Yet , many homes still have potential, and known fire hazards.

The problem in the law is that most often it is up to you, the consumer, to find out whether your appliances have been recalled. There is a database online, but you would have wade through 195 million recalled items to find out if your dishwasher or air conditioner is a potential hazard, and this would take tremendous amount of your time. As a result, today many of these dangerous appliances are still in homes across America.

Recall Chek© is the first is a first of its kind, fully audited database and reporting facility dedicated to finding manufacturer recalls on household products including, appliances, HVAC equipment and water heaters.

Most do not, the only way the manufacturer would know you own the product is if you registered the product or purchased an extended warranty. Even more rare is the occasion that a manufacturer recall on a home appliance is reported by news sources. Most recalls are fire hazards. Manufacturers reporting recalls include Sub-Zero, Goodman, G.E, A.O. Smith, just to name a few. All major manufacturers have had a recall at some point – economy and premium brands included. RWS has on file almost 200 million recalls and consumer safety bulletins.

Any and all potential recall reports affecting the appliances reported to RWS, including how to verify if your unit is affected, the nature of the recall, where the product was sold, how to remedy the defect, and how to get it done (often, it’s absolutely free).
